Attempting Easy gone Wrong
Gotta say love the set High Tide and I felt I needed to get creative last night. However I was supposed to create some easy cards for beginners and since this card arose from my 4th try at creating this stampscape I realized it was not suitable for beginners. I did accomplish one of my goals which was to use Always Artichoke ink and Card Stock for the first time. Tonight it’s back to the drawing board to create something (3 something’s to be exact) I’m not good at keeping things easy!!!! 😂
High Tide with Cupcakes and Carousels
I put the stamp set High Tide together with the DSP stack Cupcakes and Carousels. I used inks in the colours Pool Party and Tempting Turquoise for the water, Crumb Cake and Sahara Sand for the Sand, Calypso Coral and Early Expresso along with a So Saffron Stampin Write Marker for the lighthouse and for the birds and sentiment I used Early Expresso. I must say I was delighted with the Tombow Multi Purpose Liquid Glue to attach my light house image to the DSP. It gave me enough time to move the image into the perfect position but became permanent in a fast enough time. I’m definitely sold on this glue and it’s not overly water based so did very little warpage on the paper. Most good non water based glues have very noxious fumes but I do not find this with the Tombow and trust me I’m usually very sensitive to some glues fumes.
