What I Love is free stuff!!! Literally you can get the What I Love stamp for free during sale-a-bratin which is on until May 31. There’s so much fun free stuff which makes sale-a-bration a look forward to event every year!!!!
This card was started by wanting to use this sheet of the Wildflower Fields DSP and the Flowering Fields stamp set (both free items from sale-a-bration!) one side of the paper is the white with black circles and the other side is orange with dandelion seeds and I love them together!!! I also used the A Nice Cuppa bundle and Have a Cuppa DSP stack for the tea cup. For the salutation I used the Suite Sayings Stamp set and Daffodil Delight card stock. Finally I added rhinestone jewels for just giving it a touch of glitz!
In this card I was trying to capture the look of an art journal page. I took a piece of Wildflower Fields DSP. The white background with little black circles was perfect. I then crumpled it up! If that’s not sounding bad enough I took it to the sink and wet the paper thoroughly. I then took a water colour brush and applied ink soft suede to age it was applied to the edges. Then I randomly applied cherry cobbler, elegant eggplant, and pacific point inks. Then whilst the paper was still wet I stamped the salutation from Sassy Salutations with Elegant Eggplant and with Cherry Cobbler ink I stamped the flower from Birthday Blooms (also used old olive for the stem on this one) and hearts from A Nice Cuppa. Then I dried it with my heat gun (you can air dry if you don’t mind waiting) added the cherry cobbler card stock followed by cherry cobbler bakers twine, botanical gardens jewels and finally rhinestone jewels. All mounted on a 5″x7″ card base.
This is actually a birthday card I made for a friends 50th birthday! I wanted to use Botanical Builder framelits dies in a soft extremely feminine way. I used a 6 1/2″ x 5 1/2 inch card base. I then added The Watermelon Wonder card stock matte. The next thing I added was the Birthday Bouquet DSP (as you might be guessing I worked from the bottom up) I then took the leftovers of the same piece of DSP and it was striped so I cut 1/2″ wide strip with one stripe centred and crossed the whole 5 1/2″ of the card base. At last the fun began! I made layered flowers a large watermelon wonder one with 4 blossoms and two 3 blossom blushing bride flowers, one 2 blossom flower and finally 3 one layer blossoms. When the glue had set I glued the watermelon wonder flower to the stripe and then glued on the other flowers leaving enough room for leaves. I punched the leaves twice with the Festive Flower Builder punch in wild wasabi card stock stamped with the Reason for the Season stamps set and wild wasabi ink and glued them on with only the insides glued tucked under the blossoms. Then I used Rose Garden thinlits dies to cut blushing bride card stock which I stamped Happy Birthday from the Rose Wonder stamp set with cherry cobbler ink. Glued it on the stripe and ta da the outside of the card was finished. I’m sure with all the excitement she expressed when I gave it to her, she will be keeping it for a while! Be sure to write your birthday in the comments and I promise you will get a birthday card from me. #imbringingbirthdaysback #StampinUp
This is another card made from the stamp set, which I adore, Picture Perfect! The background is sponge art tempting turquoise sky, Bermuda Bay ocean and Daffodil Delight sand. I used torn paper as a mask. The starfish is the two layer stamp using Delightful Dijon, Cajun Craze and sponged on Daffodil Delight on whisper white card stock mounted on with Stampin Dimensionals. The sentiment uses the same stamp set with Cajun Craze ink. It’s mounted on Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight card stock and finally a whisper white card base. The card measures 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.
This birthday card uses the Botanical Blooms bundle which includes the stamp set(not used in this card),the dies and the DSP. It’s a really great deal. I used Bermuda Bay, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadows and Basic Black card stock. The Sentiment uses the Rose Wonder stamp set in Cajun Craze ink. Then it is embellished with Rhinestone Jewels. All on a 4 1/4″ by 5 1/2″ card base. Remember if you write your birthday in the comments I will send you a birthday card. #imbringingbirthdaysback #StampinUp
I love hexagons! The stamp set on this one is Flowering Fields which is a sale-a-bration item free with a $60 purchase! I played withe the hexagon punch to make the whisper white and tangerine tango card stock hexagons. I used the Hexagon Hives die for the background cut from hello honey card stock which I mounted on a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ card base. I then attached my hexagons on it using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I must play more with my Flowering Fields stamp set just because it’s so beautiful!!!
I love this stamp set! Picture Perfect is a layering stamp set which is just as the name implies. The Rose consists of Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Cherry Cobbler ink layered in that order. The hummingbird is Pear Pizzazz then Cherry Cobbler for the throat followed by Lost Lagoon and Cajun Craze ink. I then sponged on Wild Wasabi ink for a soft bush image and Tempting Turquoise for the sky. Finally I used the Birthday Blooms stamp set and Cajun Craze ink for the sentiment and mounted it on Cajun Craze and Pear Pizzazz card stock and placed it on a 41/4″x 5 1/2″ whisper white card base. I love it when birthday cards just bloom!!! Remember leave your birthday in the comments and I will send you a birthday card! #imbringingbirthdaysback #StampinUp
