I made my very first shaker card!!! Everything is from the Painted With Love Suite. The Specialty DSP is just stunning!!!
Used practically the whole Cake Soirée Suite here
Just using some scraps of the almost retired DSP. This time I experimented with some triangular blocks (used the retired postage stamp punch and cut some in half diagonally). I think it looks like a windmill. The DSP is from the Falling in Love suite and the Happy Hearts embossing folder is also on the retirement list 😢. The sentiment is from the Sunshine Sayings stamp set and Thankfully is not retiring! The actual card is officially in the mail! I made it for a purpose.
I must say a white watercolour pencil is something I had somewhat protested to. Any good watercolourist would tell you no I do not use white I use the paper to create my white. So I decided to move beyond the bounds of watercolour and try my watercolour pencil as like a pastel pencil and use white on a darker paper a common pastel technique and I love the harmony of it. Yay for versatility!!!!
Just sharing a little Easter card that I’ll fess up to the fact I coloured it with my Copics not 100% Stampin Up but the beauty of Stampin Up is it can be easily used with your favourite arts and crafts product. You don’t have to give up everything else just to enjoy Stampin Up products!!!
I made this little hexagonal box using the Window box dies and Rich Razzleberry card stock! I put a flameless candle in it and now have a great gift!!! I’m thinking at some point I want to do one of those hexagonal little paper purses. It even can make cute little Easter baskets!!!
This is the 3rd card I’m teaching at this months technique class and I won’t be showing the surprise project until after the session on April 21. There’s still one opening on April 14th so if you wish to learn both heat and pressure embossing then feel free to join us Email at firstname.lastname@example.org for details. For our May technique class we will be doing masking technique. Note: this card has combined heat and pressure embossing.
Happy Friday everyone. Today being the last day of March I’m posting my first Easter card. This features the stamp set Little Cuties with the Cupcakes and Carousels DSP stack. It’s coloured with Stampin Write Markers with Pacific Point ink for the sentiment and Pool Party and Pacific Point card stock. Today is the last day for getting SAB Rewards before they retire.
The Second card I’m teaching at my technique class is using pressure embossing as you may have noticed I’m featuring the Dragonfly Dream bundle this time. My original date for this class is now full so I’m offering a second class on the 13th of April although I’m still leaving the 14th open for a class if that works better for everyone. The class is at my home and is $20 and we make 3 technique cards plus one surprise project. This time the surprise project is a 3D item! Email me for more information email@example.com.
Gotta say love the set High Tide and I felt I needed to get creative last night. However I was supposed to create some easy cards for beginners and since this card arose from my 4th try at creating this stampscape I realized it was not suitable for beginners. I did accomplish one of my goals which was to use Always Artichoke ink and Card Stock for the first time. Tonight it’s back to the drawing board to create something (3 something’s to be exact) I’m not good at keeping things easy!!!! 😂
