I used the embossing paste on this one and ink refills in Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler (isn’t it starting to sound yummy!), Pacific Point and Wild Wasabi. The card stock is Whisper White, Wild Wasabi and Cherry Cobbler stamped with a sentiment from Climbing Orchids done in Pacific Point ink. I love the absolute brilliance of these colours! It looks like stained glass!!!

You’ve Got This!
I thought I’d revisit an older set that still has not retired: You’ve Got This! With a bit of In colours to give it a fresh look! The colours are Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist and I used the Fresh Florals DSP. This flower is still as bold as it ever was definitely says “you’ve got this!”
Musical Season bundle
The Musical season bundle is always a great start to a card. Follow that with the embossing folder Winter wonder on champagne foil paper and the result is wow! I also added in Year of Cheer Specialty Washi tape just to frame it. Ink used is Momento Tuxedo Black and card stock is Cajun Craze and Basic Black. I’m still celebrating how metallics allows me to stray from traditional Christmas colours but still has a festive touch.
Musical Season card
On this card I used the Washi tape and DSP from the Year of Cheer suite with the Musical Seasons bundle. I used gold, Silver, copper and the new champagne Foil papers, momento tuxedo black ink and Whisper White and Basic Black card stock. I’m totally in love with the French horn and the treble clef!!!

This is the card which I made from the video embossing. The stamp set is Awesomely Artistic and the dies Are Detailed Dragonflies thinlits. The colours are Smokey Slate, Pumpkin Pie, Pacific Point, Wild Wasabi, Cherry Cobbler and Basic Black.
Sugarplum Dreams a few of my favourite things!!!
A little bit of colouring and voila another Sugarplum Dreams card is in the making. One thing I love about this set is it’s line art and that means colouring!!! I just used Stampin Write markers and the marker I used for the pictures background was Sweet Sugarplum which just seemed appropriate. Of course the stamped images were done with Basic Black Archival ink and the sentiment uses Pool Party card stock with Pacific Point ink cut with the Everyday Tag punch. It’s all mounted on Silver Foil Paper on Perfect Plum card stock and finished with some rhinestone jewels.
Sugarplum Dreams and Year of Cheer
Sugarplum Dreams was my go to set for my first card of the entire holiday catalog!!! I chose to make it Christmasy with metallics rather than sticking to traditional colours. I’ve used Silver, Gold and the new Champaign Foil Paper. The DSP is Year of Cheer and the stamping is done with Versamark embossed with gold and Smokey Slate ink on Powder Pink card stock. The images were cut out with the new Everyday Tag Punch. All the colours that I can imagine would look beautiful with this DSP make me squeal with delight!!!!
Touches of Texture searching for art.
Sometimes I don’t feel so inclined to use any great layers or embellishments ie bling to make a card. Instead I just have a need to dig for my inner artist and just use inks and paper. This is done with a Whisper White sheet of card stock and sponged with Berry Blast, Tranquil Tide, and Lemon Lime Twist inks as well as Momento Tuxedo Black ink on a sponge dauber for the edges as well as to stamp all the images. Touches of Texture was my main stamp set but hello came from the Eastern Palace stamp set. It is matted in Berry Blast and Basic Black.
Nature Sings
Some serious fussy cutting here! No I didn’t have any dies to cut these reindeer from the Nature Sings stamp set. Once again I started with painting on ink this time the colours were Pool Party and Powder Pink and then stamped on the trees with Garden Green and pulled out my Lovely as a Tree stamp set and put the one tree in the foreground with Tranquil Tide ink. Then I stamped Soft Suede card stock with Chocolate Chip ink then stamped them on the paper with Chocolate Chip ink to place the deer and glued my fussy cut deer on top finally I stamped the sentiment with Chocolate Chip ink and matted with Powder Pink and Tranquil Tide card stock.
Watercolours and Carols of Christmas
Carols of Christmas bundle is the starting point as far as the idea went but first I had to set the background using ink in Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry and Pool Party. I used my Aqua Painters for painting on the ink. I visualized it with silver foil and I want some contrast foil so for the deer I used copper foil. The sentiment is stamped with Versamark ink and embossed in silver and comes from the Nature Sings stamp set. I love the feeling of depth this card has! I love the simple fact that no matter how often I might decide to replicate this card no two cards can ever be exactly the same.
