I finished my little spring house. It’s made with the Home Sweet Home thinlits dies. I also accented with a whole lot of items from the Occasions catalog. No worries it did not retire after the Holiday catalog it’s available in the Occasions catalog. I love it and it’s the perfect size to house a bottle of essential oil.
This is done with silver heat embossing. The stamps are from the sets Lovely as a Tree, Star of Light and Christmas Pines for the Sentiment. The card stock is Island Indigo and Whisper White thick for the card base. I also matted with silver foil paper. This is going to one of my artsy friends.
So begins my rush to finish Christmas cards. This features the Pretty Pines Suite and my version of the curtain fold technique. I love the way the stripes on the DSP turned out. I also love the embossing on the Mint Macaron what would otherwise have been negative space turned out. I also used the Stitched Shapes Framelits I love that they look finished without doing a matte. I know who’s getting this one but I won’t tell.
This was what I thought was the last Christmas card this year. I’ve been making Christmas cards since July and would you believe I still ran out before writing one for everyone on my list. I’m grateful for all the people who have touched my life one way or another and I’m doing a few more Christmas cards this week probably posting through next week. I want to thank those who take time to respond to my posts you’ll never know how much I appreciate you. Just as a footnote this card uses the Merry Medley background stamp and the Father Christmas stamp set.
Ok today it’s Christmas card time. This features the Greetings from Santa bundle which includes the stamp set by the same name and the detailed Santa thinlits. The colours are simple Very Vanilla, Flirty Flamingo and Real Red card stock and Real Red ink. Pretty quick and simple!
I’m going to be alternating between some Christmas and some 2017 Occasions catalog ideas and fade out Christmas and concentrate on Occasions catalog and Annual catalog. I’m sorry about that but us crafters are always ahead of the season especially since us lucky ones who went to On Stage got a head start on Spring ideas. To keep it simple this card is made from the Perfect Pines thinlits, Warmth and Cheer DWT and Christmas Pines stamp set. The colour scheme is Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White and a touch of Crumb Cake. I’ve been working on Christmas cards since July and Spring is a welcome change!
I used the DSP and DWT from Candy Cane Lane and Stamps from Merry Mice and Paisleys and Posies to make my own gingerbread house card! I can’t begin to describe the process behind this one. Just let my imagination go! I won’t be posting over the weekend as I will be at On Stage live and will be getting the first peeks at the Spring catalog and Sale-a-bration brochure which won’t be available to non demonstrators until January! I’m extremely excited but can’t share anything until Stampin’ Up! gives us the go ahead and let the sneak peeks begin. So until Monday have a nice weekend!
I love this card. It’s made using all different components of the Christmas Pines suite: DSP, DWT, Pine Cone embellishments, Ribbon, stamps and dies. Cherry Cobbler ink and Emerald Envy, Cherry Cobbler, and Whisper White card stock were also used. This currently is my favourite Christmas card!
Yesterday I attended a team meeting with my leadership from Stampin’ Up! And we did a make and take as part of the meeting. These are the cards we made all designed by North Shore Stamper. It was great and my first experience with a live demonstrator event.
