Today I am posting a card which is made with the Sunshine Sayings Bundle. This bundle was introduced in the last catalog and is carrying forward into the new catalog. I also used the layering Circles dies and a retired heart punch. The colours are Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Flirty Flamingo, and Melon Mambo ink for the Happy Birthday. I’m so glad I managed to squeeze this set in before the bundle retired due to the 10% savings. In the new catalog the stamps and dies have to be bought separately. There are a few weeks left for the old catalog to be available for ordering bundles and I plan on getting as many of the bundled items as I can afford. There will be new bundles in the new catalog.
A friend of mine just had a baby boy and I’m so excited to give her a hand knit baby sweater and this card. I used the Baby Bear stamp set for the main image and the retired stamp set Little cuties for the background and sentiment. The colour scheme is Tempting Turquoise, Island Indigo and soft sky. I’m always happy to welcome a new baby to the world!!!
Now since the last technique class is over I can reveal my surprise project for April. My technique students all got to make this carry case for their little supplies they bring to the class like adhesives and snips. It’s made with an empty wood mount stamp box plus the bundles Sunshine Sayings and Foxy Friends. We all had fun with this easy to make project!
Just sharing a little Easter card that I’ll fess up to the fact I coloured it with my Copics not 100% Stampin Up but the beauty of Stampin Up is it can be easily used with your favourite arts and crafts product. You don’t have to give up everything else just to enjoy Stampin Up products!!!
An Easter quilt card. Quilt cards are a fun and easy way to use up odd scraps of DSP! I punched these squares with the postage stamp punch but you can use any 1″ square punch or die. Or else simply cut 1″ squares. I play around a bit with the arraignment then adhere. Finally to give it a quilt look I use the negative side of the Happy Heart TIEF to emboss. It’s fast, it’s fun and it’s easy!!! Happy Friday!!!!
I don’t know why I didn’t get the Foxy Friends bundle sooner but these little critters are just so stinking cute! I paired it with Sunshine Sayings bundle and love the results. This is a happy engagement card to a friend. I hope she has a happy life together with the man who I know she so patiently waited for!!!
Happy Friday everyone. Today being the last day of March I’m posting my first Easter card. This features the stamp set Little Cuties with the Cupcakes and Carousels DSP stack. It’s coloured with Stampin Write Markers with Pacific Point ink for the sentiment and Pool Party and Pacific Point card stock. Today is the last day for getting SAB Rewards before they retire.
The Second card I’m teaching at my technique class is using pressure embossing as you may have noticed I’m featuring the Dragonfly Dream bundle this time. My original date for this class is now full so I’m offering a second class on the 13th of April although I’m still leaving the 14th open for a class if that works better for everyone. The class is at my home and is $20 and we make 3 technique cards plus one surprise project. This time the surprise project is a 3D item! Email me for more information email@example.com.
This is a really simple easy for even a beginner card. It uses Artistically Asian as the stamp set from the annual catalog. I’m thinking of this plus 3 other cards I have to make today and tomorrow for a beginner or anyone who is interested card Class! I’ll put enlighten essential oil in the diffuser to stimulate creativity and see what I can come up with over the next two days. I’m thinking a good mix of the annual and Occasions catalogs will be in order.
Ok so I know it’s Monday. But hopefully this will bring a smile instead of the Monday blahs! I’m introducing my next technique which is going to be embossing both heat and pressure embossing. This card shows heat embossing and will be one of the cards I teach. Now I’m waiting for supplies for my other two cards so I may or may not have the 2nd card ready for show by Friday so I might stick with posting them on Monday. The interesting thing this time is I’ve showed this card around a bit already and I was going to hold just one class on Friday April 21 but that class is now full. So I’m thinking I can offer either Thursday April 13 or Friday April 14 around 6:30 or 7-9pm I welcome any feedback on what works for you. The surprise project of course won’t be showing on my page until after April 21 when I hold my last April technique class. And just throwing it out there but this month it’s not a card but a 3D project!!! Any way if you want to find out more you can message me or email at firstname.lastname@example.org thanks!!!
