Pizza boxes full of Halloween cards

This will be my last Halloween post. I’m shifting over to Christmas. This final piece is the mini pizza box decorated inside and out and the 5 3×3” cards and envelopes included inside. The pizza boxes and cards were meant for a gift to all the participants attending the Spooky packages class. But I actually was lucky enough the class on Monday was canceled due to no attendance because my pizza boxes didn’t arrive until Monday and my treat tubes didn’t come until Tuesday so I wouldn’t have had the supplies. Happy October 31st I plan on Christmas decorating that day my usual Christmas decorating day.

Petal Garden flower card

Quilted Christmas card

This is an answer to another sketch challenge. This time a Christmas card. I’ve very loosely interpreted the sketch changed the tag into a tree and the bow is a star. Not hard to do if you’re not afraid of fussy cutting. A lot on this is fussy cut. The paper comes from the Quilted Christmas DSP as well as Blushing Bride, Lemon Lime Twist and Garden Green Card Stock. And the sentiment Stamped in Garden Green comes from the Oh What Fun Stamp Set. The star was cut by cutting a line from the centre of each outer triangle to the outside of each inner pink triangle and it gives an amazing optical illusional effect. I love this paper with or without the rest of the suite but it’s a very versatile suite and can be used well beyond Christmas.

Spooky Cat treat packages

Just a sneak peak into what’s going down at my place. This is not what it looks like I’m not really a “Halloween person” but honestly the Spooky Cat Suite is so stinking cute how could I resist!!! It honestly has everything you need to package up those treats just right!!! Anyone interested in a Spooky Cat class? There could be one brewing here!!!

Wedding Orchids

Ah I can post this now that the wedding is over and the bride and groom are on their honeymoon!!! The colour scheme for this is simple Island indigo and white. Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper sponged a bit with Island Indigo ink provides the bling along with 1/4” Ombré ribbon in Island Indigo helps too! If you’re wondering about my marvellous weaving loom I cut the dazzling diamond Glimmer Paper with the Move Me thinlits!!!
