I loved the idea of playing with Cambridge Carols it has a kind of elegance in antiquity about it!
I played with the idea of creating an unusual shaped “window” to see the image from using the die from the Winter Woods Bundle. Then I played with my Happiness and Cheer stamps and came up with something really simple.
Finally just because as a creator and creative mind and I feel refreshed mentally by Northern Lights Black Spruce Essential Oil it was in my diffuser. I will never forget my great experience getting to travel North to harvest and distill this great oil! I will forever be in awe!
A fun way to give a great gift!!! Christmas around the world DSP, Real Red 1/8” ribbon, Basic Black Card Stock and Enamel Shapes in crushed curry. Something these soldiers will have to work hard to guard!!! PS I’m sure this is not the last.

Worked on some tags! Seriously these would make a fun class!!! What do you think? The wine bottle tag uses the Merry Patterns stamp set and the colours are Emerald Envy, Lemon Lime Twist and Real Red. The gift tags use the Sugarplum Dreams stamp set and two done in a more feminine look and three can be Masculine/neutral looking all are stamped using Basic Black archival ink on Whisper White with Stampin Write markers for colour. The third set of tags consists of a wine bottle tag with three gift tags featuring Merry Music Specialty DSP. They use a variety of stamps and dies but really with music there is so much to choose from. I think I might put some of these with some more ideas and create an October event.
The Musical season bundle is always a great start to a card. Follow that with the embossing folder Winter wonder on champagne foil paper and the result is wow! I also added in Year of Cheer Specialty Washi tape just to frame it. Ink used is Momento Tuxedo Black and card stock is Cajun Craze and Basic Black. I’m still celebrating how metallics allows me to stray from traditional Christmas colours but still has a festive touch.
On this card I used the Washi tape and DSP from the Year of Cheer suite with the Musical Seasons bundle. I used gold, Silver, copper and the new champagne Foil papers, momento tuxedo black ink and Whisper White and Basic Black card stock. I’m totally in love with the French horn and the treble clef!!!
Carols of Christmas bundle is the starting point as far as the idea went but first I had to set the background using ink in Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry and Pool Party. I used my Aqua Painters for painting on the ink. I visualized it with silver foil and I want some contrast foil so for the deer I used copper foil. The sentiment is stamped with Versamark ink and embossed in silver and comes from the Nature Sings stamp set. I love the feeling of depth this card has! I love the simple fact that no matter how often I might decide to replicate this card no two cards can ever be exactly the same.
This is a simple but elegant Christmas card. It uses the negative plus part of the positive of the largest snowflakes of the seasonal layers thinlits dies. The sentiment is in Dapper Denim ink and uses the Nature Sings stamp set. Under the snowflake there is some Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. All the card stock is Whisper White and it is embellished with silver Faceted Gems.
Today I have a really quick easy peasy Christmas card made using the Carols of Christmas stamps and Foil Frenzy Specialty DSP. I just used the colours Tranquil Tide and Whisper White for Card Stock and ink and embellished with Basics Pack 2 Washi Tape, Boxwood Wreaths Embellishments and Rhinestone Jewels. Even with all the cutting I kept this one under 30 minutes to make. Perfect choice if you’re new to stamping.
Put this card together on a Facebook Live video which I uploaded to YouTube here’s the link
Here’s the card.
