I’m really pleased with how this turned out!!! It’s almost all composed with the Paisleys and Posies suite except for the leaves and the festive flower builder punch. I’m going to briefly leave off Thanksgiving cards for my next few posts just because I’m excited about some of my Christmas sets and have made some cards with them, plus I made a super easy but elegant all occasions friendship card this weekend I’m excited to show and that basically covers this week. So stay tuned for a fun week. Hint: expect some mice to invade my page!!!!
Another Christmas in July card! This time not retired stuff at all. Well except for the red foil in the centre of the poinsettia. Not everything in this card is technically Christmas stuff either. The detailed floral thinlits used to cut the lace certainly isn’t but it works. The stamp set used is Embellished Ornaments. The poinsettia is cut with the festive flower builder punch using clear glimmer paper. And the ink is Cherry Cobbler and Cucumber Crush. Finally the card stock is Cherry Cobbler, Flirty Flamingo, Cucumber Crush and Whisper White. This is my favourite one so far but I’m sure by Christmas I’ll have over a dozen favourites!
This is a block card featuring the new In-Colours: Sweet Sugarplum, Peekaboo Peach and Emerald Envy. It folds flat into a neat 6×4 1/2″ card which can be put in an envelope to give. The base is made from the old In-Colour Coastal Cabana which requires a 12×12″ piece of card stock. #stampinup
