Happy Friday everyone. Today being the last day of March I’m posting my first Easter card. This features the stamp set Little Cuties with the Cupcakes and Carousels DSP stack. It’s coloured with Stampin Write Markers with Pacific Point ink for the sentiment and Pool Party and Pacific Point card stock. Today is the last day for getting SAB Rewards before they retire.
The Second card I’m teaching at my technique class is using pressure embossing as you may have noticed I’m featuring the Dragonfly Dream bundle this time. My original date for this class is now full so I’m offering a second class on the 13th of April although I’m still leaving the 14th open for a class if that works better for everyone. The class is at my home and is $20 and we make 3 technique cards plus one surprise project. This time the surprise project is a 3D item! Email me for more information email@example.com.
Gotta say love the set High Tide and I felt I needed to get creative last night. However I was supposed to create some easy cards for beginners and since this card arose from my 4th try at creating this stampscape I realized it was not suitable for beginners. I did accomplish one of my goals which was to use Always Artichoke ink and Card Stock for the first time. Tonight it’s back to the drawing board to create something (3 something’s to be exact) I’m not good at keeping things easy!!!! 😂
This is a really simple easy for even a beginner card. It uses Artistically Asian as the stamp set from the annual catalog. I’m thinking of this plus 3 other cards I have to make today and tomorrow for a beginner or anyone who is interested card Class! I’ll put enlighten essential oil in the diffuser to stimulate creativity and see what I can come up with over the next two days. I’m thinking a good mix of the annual and Occasions catalogs will be in order.
Ok so I know it’s Monday. But hopefully this will bring a smile instead of the Monday blahs! I’m introducing my next technique which is going to be embossing both heat and pressure embossing. This card shows heat embossing and will be one of the cards I teach. Now I’m waiting for supplies for my other two cards so I may or may not have the 2nd card ready for show by Friday so I might stick with posting them on Monday. The interesting thing this time is I’ve showed this card around a bit already and I was going to hold just one class on Friday April 21 but that class is now full. So I’m thinking I can offer either Thursday April 13 or Friday April 14 around 6:30 or 7-9pm I welcome any feedback on what works for you. The surprise project of course won’t be showing on my page until after April 21 when I hold my last April technique class. And just throwing it out there but this month it’s not a card but a 3D project!!! Any way if you want to find out more you can message me or email at firstname.lastname@example.org thanks!!!
This is a collage of the photos my club member took of the demonstration of our technique for technique club. It works as a summary of how to make those pretty floral dresses on your Beautiful You ladies. Next Friday I will be showing my technique for next month my Friday April 21st class is full so I’ll be posting a second date as soon as I come up with one.
Now that the technique club meeting is over (we rescheduled for Thursday as my first member couldn’t do Friday this month) here is the surprise project. This time it was a card. The club meeting was a great success and next week I will show the technique for the second club meeting. We had so much fun Tomorrow I will show some photographs from the technique club. We had a great time. Can’t wait for next month and my second technique club meeting.
Just spent the afternoon crafting. These are the cards we got shared with us from WestCoast Creators. They are designed by Rhonda Wade. I had to make changes to the original design by substituting embossing folders with ones I actually had but they still turned out. It’s really easy when someone else designs it for you. I’m really happy with them and can barely wait to give them out. Remember all good things must come to an end Sale-a-bration is over at the end of this month. If you’re wanting to get ahold of these stamp sets: Hey Chick and Avant Garden and the Carried Away DSP then you need to let me know, in a few weeks they will be no longer available.
This is the third technique card I will be doing in our monthly technique club meeting which today is the last day to sign up to join this month but the good thing is I will be posting next months technique soon and I promise it will not disappoint. You can private message me or email email@example.com to find out more.
This is the third birthday card we will be doing at my birthday stamp a stack party! Please join us on Saturday March 18th from 2-4pm as we have fun creating Birthday cards! There’s even cake. We will make 3 designs 3 of each for a total of 9 birthday cards. It’s for all levels of stamping abilities. If you’ve never stamped before or just would like to send handmade birthday cards this is the class for you. Plus who doesn’t like a party!!!! It will be held at my home in North Vancouver BC Canada and everyone is welcome. Message me or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
